The progress of this project has been slowing down for the past few months due to various reasons. As I have less time to take photos, it takes longer to finish a roll of film and then get it developed and scanned. Also, I’m thinking to include more information on this site in addition to photos. That takes time, too. I would hate to see this site being like a photo stream on flickr. (Don’t get me wrong. I have nothing against flickr, which by the way has a new CEO this week.)
Although at the beginning of this project I planned to use slide films for color photos, as you may already notice, I started to use more negative films. The reason is just that it costs less, both in terms of its price and developing cost. I recently bought a Fujifilm X-Pro1 for another project, and I think I may use it for this project as well because I also got a Konica Hexanon AR lens to XF mount adapter, which seems working well. But still, I will try to shoot more films before they become history altogether.
